Oh Rosie

SK2180421 Oh Rosie
Rosa Parks is best remembered for her resistance to give up her seat  in the 'colored section' for a white passenger (December, 1955). She wasn't the first person to resist bus segregation. Others, like Claudette Colvin (March, 1955), have preceded her act.
Here's a small 'memento'; not only to those whose names have been forgotten, but also to remind us how a simple, non violent act can change things.

Original, handmade and unique painting.
Frame required.
Mixed Media on Canvasboard.
25 x 25cm / 9.84 x 9.84".
